One of the first things we all need to do is properly recycle used oil and filters.  Over thirty percent of the population still changes oil in one or more engines. Whether it comes from your vehicles, ATVs, lawnmowers, boat engines or other engines, the old oil is one of the worst polluters of water.  Just one part per million oil in water makes water toxic.  Consider that there are over 1 billion engines in use in America that create used oil.  Do the math and you’ll agree that old oil is a serious problem.  It’s more than 40 Exxon-Valdez incidents each year!!
